Our Story

Every friendship has two sides. Two perspectives. Two versions of the same beautiful story. This is ours.......

The Beginning of Salt and Spice

An indoor moment showing two women sitting comfortably by a fireplace, in their comfy, cozy socks, while holding a pair of branded Salt & Spice mugs, creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere that highlights the cozy, inviting spirit behind the Salt & Spice Collective. The soft lighting, casual setting, and personal touch emphasize friendship, connection, and the meaningful beginnings of the brand’s story.

It started with a simple hello. Nothing extraordinary - until life happened. The late-night text check-ins. The emergency wine drop-offs. The showing up - again and again - in ways big and small. That’s what turned a casual encounter into a ‘bestie’ bond. We became each other’s person. The first call for good news and bad. The one who knows when you’re faking fine. The one who would help you bury a body - no questions asked. (Kidding. Mostly.)

Sarah was the salt: steady, grounding, the voice of reason (and sarcasm). Jacque was the spice: fiery, introspective, the dreamer. Together, we become a great balance. We navigated the chaos of motherhood, the pressures of corporate life, the 2 a.m. existential crises. We dreamed bigger - not just for ourselves, but for our kids. We wanted to show them what it looks like when women bet on themselves, support each other, and build something extraordinary. So, we did the scary thing. We built something that matters. Something that celebrates the bonds that change lives. Salt & Spice Collective was born.

So, we did the scary thing. We built something that matters.

Why We’re Here
Because we know how important friendship connections are. The ones that truly help you navigate life. We know what it's like to wonder if that kind of friendship—the ride-or-die, show-up-at-3am, bring-the-wine kind—really exists. We’re here to tell you, it does.

In a world where screens often speak louder than voices, it is easy to forget that technology can only take us so far. It can inform us, entertain us, distract us, and even make us feel briefly connected, but it can't replace what we crave most: real, human connection. We believe there is a growing opportunity to help share that message and support those looking for it.

Your Invitation
This isn’t just our story. It’s a collection of stories - yours, ours, and the ones we haven’t heard yet but can’t wait to share. A space to inspire and to remind each other that connection is possible.

If you’ve found your ‘person’, join us to share your story and photos. Make them feel seen, and inspire someone else to keep looking.

If you’re still searching, we see you. Keep an open mind and an open heart! When you find your person, we’ll be here to cheer you on.

And if you’re lucky enough to BE someone’s person - thank you. The world needs more of you. More showing up. More “I’m on my way” texts. More love like this.

Welcome to the Collective. We’re so glad you’re here.

With love,

Sarah & Jacque (Salt & Spice)

Our Purpose

We exist to celebrate the friendship bonds that change lives. We want to build something meaningful: a space that honors the friendships where you can be completely honest, utterly vulnerable, and never face a crisis alone.

Our Mission

To share stories, and build a community that celebrates friendships—specifically the ride-or-die, bring the wine, grab-the-shovel kind. We help others find, celebrate, and nurture connections through authentic storytelling and meaningful gestures.

Our Vision

Where friendships, bonds and connections are celebrated openly and valued as a vital part of life.
